HELP WITH DRY ACNEPRONE SKIn?Start by taking a deep breath. It's a shame your mom isn't more considered about your skin issue and how it makes you feel.
Start by giving your skin a couple weeks to just breathe and heal. A light cleanser (find one for sensitive skin) is all you should be using at this point. Do not use either Total Effects Daily Cleanser or Biore yet, just a nice, gentle cleanser (St. Ives has some good products for this, but stay away from their scrubs). After your skin had calmed a big (you still probably won't be able to notice a difference) then find a light moisturizer and a little bit stornger cleanser (still for sensitive skins) and use the cleanser in the AM and the PM, and the mositurizer just in the AM. (After 2-3 weeks you should be noticing a difference). After a couple months of this regimen you can start using scrubs occasionally and stronger cleansers. Good luck!
