Download Limewire and the r..

i have been looking at getting Limewire to download audio files only. i have been told that if u get the Limewire off a disk and have AVG running you will be ok. Also i have been told not to download anything under 3MB.. will someone give me some advice coz im scared my computer might have to be reconfigurered

Make sure you keep ur system protected with a good anti-virus + get a spyware removal tool. That will do. Some Limewire files are either corrupted or infected with viruses.

I have been using Limewire for a long time already and I don't think I've ever gotten any serious viruses from it. Sometimes you will get trojans and minor bugs but usually AVG takes care of that when you try to open them. Also, Limewire warns you if a file is corrupted.

Limewire is a crappy free file used for mp3 downloading. There is a reason limewire is for free, they attach adware and spyware to it. Yeah you might think its not there but something I guarantee is running the background if you have limewire. But hey, infect your machine not like i care.. :)

yes, you are right but , the spyware and whatever viruses are giving you warning before they are download, is your choice o accept, but likely you get infect since you are require to have antivirus so that it can warn you if the download content is virus or spyware, try latest Norton , Macafee, or AVG

Use Strong DC instead of Limeware. I鈥檝e never got anything bad while using it.
