How does the body defend itself from viruses or bacteria that enter the body?your body defends itself through your immune system. the primary line of defense is your skin, but after a foreign body such as bacteria or viruses enters your body then the immune system takes action.
How does the body defend itself from viruses or bacteria that enter the body? With your immune system.
How does the body defend itself from viruses or bacteria that enter the body?Antibodies or cytotoxic t-cells will bind to specific groups on the outside of the bacteria or viruses, or kill our own body cells that are infected with bacteria/virus which prevents their spreading. When binding the bacteria/viruses the antibodies or cytotoxic t-cells will carry out a number of functions that result in the death of the bacteria and inactivation of the virus.
