Whats happening with him ....

my bearded dragon hasnt eaten in a while. i just bought it a new tank much bigger than the other one it was in, & fed him some crickets & superworms with calcium.

& hes been acting weird ever since i put him in...

he has a purple tint to his skin on his tail & around his face

& once in a while he'll go crazy & attack the glass of the tank as if theres somthing there. then he'll stop & twitch his his up & down, up & down. then stops & doesn nothing... :S

its starting to worry me. Any suggestions of whats wrong

He's all stressed out.

Bearded dragons turn a dark shade of gray to black to what looks like purple ,on its face and tail on yours.

The head bob is his way of telling you that he's a little upset ..lol

Bet he opens his mouth when he does it too right?

Let him get used to his new house.

He'll calm down.

getting used to new tank.......i had one that slept for 2 months....

Animals take a little while to get used to a new home. Just keep trying to feed him. He'll eat when he needs to.

If you just recently put him in his new tank, he is adjusting to his new surroundings which may be why hes not eating. Running around could be a form of exploring. If he doesn't eat about a week later, then put him back in his own tank.
