Dry flakes of skin on my eyelid..?

Okay, so since partially a year ago or so I have noticed I had these tiny flakes of dry skin on my eyelid, but only my left eyelid. Time went, it gradually got worse. It corrupted the size of my eyes, so now my left eye is smaller than the other & you can tell. Sometimes it gets really bad and then it becomes red and really flaky, making it more visible or other times it would be not as flaky or red. It's not itchy but it feels heavier than the other eyelid. It still remains on the top of my left eyelid and it's not contagious or anything. I don't use make up but lotion seems to "ease" it. It makes my eyelid a little poofy and if I take tweezers to get rid of some of the tiny flakes, the next day it will appear again, but not as much. If I scratch it in any way, flakes will appear. I want to get rid of it but I don't know how. Any ideas? Haven't visited the doctor yet & I haven't been there in years... I'm planning to go this year though if my mom makes the appointment soon. Help! :D
Dry flakes of skin on my eyelid..?make the appointment yourself. it is probably fixable with a topical cream like triamcinolone, but they will probably do a culture to see what it is exactly and give antibiotics if necessary. if you can't get in soon, try using neosporin twice a day. it shouldn't hurt anything, it might even make it go away and problem will be solved.
and stop picking at it with tweezers, or anything else for that matter!
Dry flakes of skin on my eyelid..?put some aquaphor cream on it...
