it's worse in the morning after sleeping with my mouth open, I imagine...usually i can't open my mouth more than a centimetre before my skin cracks...painfully lol...i know that it is NOT cold sores but other than that i'm stuck...it's never happened before, even through winters of dry lips...hope someone has an idea!
I have extremely dry skin in the corners of my mouth, where my lips meet, and no lip chap helps. Any ideas?Seriously, the few occasions i had this, where the split/sore appears to be healing but re-opens when you eat/talk/yawn, means it cant/wont heal despite low activity! lol (vicious circle)
AN 'older' dear friend of mine said it was a kind of VITAMIN OR MINERAL DEFICIENCY so to ensure a CURE she advised taking a single capsual of multivitamins with minerals every day.
I kid u not, I took the basic tesco multivits & minerals daily & on day 3 it almost gone!
I have extremely dry skin in the corners of my mouth, where my lips meet, and no lip chap helps. Any ideas?Have you tried Carmex?
I have extremely dry skin in the corners of my mouth, where my lips meet, and no lip chap helps. Any ideas?Try a dab of Bag Balm before you go to bed at night. It is an ointment sold in a square green can and you can usually find it at a pharmacy or drugstore. It is made for putting on cow udders when they are cracked from milking. Its really great stuff for healing dry skin.
