Is this just dry skin... or..

I have this dry skin on the side of five of out my ten fingers. I've had it for about a year and it makes me feel horrible and unsanitary. I've tried using nail filers on them, but it only makes them bleed. I've tried scissors- but they bleed still. How can I get rid of this? It is so embarrassing to have these on the sides of my fingers.

I've had this too except it makes bumps come up through my skin and makes them dry and itchy. The first thing that you should do is talk to your doctor, your doctor can help you by giving you cream or some other type of medication to make it go down, The second thing you should do is keep your hands mouisturized, i reccomend using C.O. Bigelow carrot oil lotion, it soothes, protects, and softens. last but not least don't pick at them, or try to file them it will only make the condition worse,

I have not checked your pictures but I think you should go to a dermatologist to check it out.

For dry skin, use a creamy cleanser to melt away dirt. Leave it on your skin before sweeping it away with cotton wool. Splash cold water onto your face to clean and refresh your skin.
