Please tell me what this is..

About 7 months ago, i had an area of very dry skin. By the next day it started to get peely. So as an instinct I peeled some of it off. Although when I say some I mean a lot. It looked horrible. It had dry blood and was so dark red. Now it flat, medium brown colored. I have no idea what it is. I think maybe it might a scar or something like that. Anyways, I would like to know what it is and how to get rid of it.

Dr.Dr.Dr. it could be dermatitis,or any number of skin conditions. Usually it is just a matter of applying ointment that the Dr. prescribes and it goes.
