Slight dry patches on baby's scalp?

Hi all,
This is nothing serious I just wanted to ask if anyone else had this with their baby? (I'd like to try all avenues with this before taking it to the doctor-it's not sore or itchy or anything like that!)
If anyone else's baby has had this, what did you do to clear it up? It's just dry falling skin in patches on little man's head-as I said before it's not sore or anything, it's just there!
Slight dry patches on baby's scalp? Its cradle cap. Normal, my son has it now. Apply some baby oil then with a baby brush gently brush it out then wash out your babys hair.
Slight dry patches on baby's scalp?its cradle cap and all you do is take baby oil and a baby comb and comb it off, and always comb the hair when you give the baby a bath

Slight dry patches on baby's scalp? It's pretty common. It could be from the shampoo during bath time. Just use the soap on his head every other day, and use lotion. That soap can dry out his skin...he's just got some baby dandruff.
Slight dry patches on baby's scalp?absolutely. it's under my impression that all babies get this. because they are adjusting to our enviroment. i personally, used a smudgin of olive oil, it's gentle enough for a babies skin. i do not recommend baby oil because it is actually to large of a consistancy for humans to absorb, and it will just sit on the top layer of skin, possibly suffocating them, BUT that is an absolute worst case senerio... I didn't risk it, ha. but back to what i was saying, in the bath, use a baby brush to sluff away the dead skincells, and moisturize(olive oil) after he's out, better results if you don't let the area dry completely out before applying your moisturizer of choice.
