I heard that people are dying at an alarming rate from MRSA which is the penicillin resistant strain of staph. I'm worried 'cause it's in my blood system. I got it from an open wound and I have frequent skin infections that require antibiotics that don't really get rid of the MRSA. If you heard anything, what'd they say? I know it's very common in hospitals and very dangerous to those with weakened immune systems and the very young and old. What about otherwise healthy people?

YES, and it is more dangerous then aids...

Very serious, and if you have it take care of yourself..

It can be tracked around on the sole of your shoes so be careful and wash your hands with soap and water...any soap will be ok. Doesn't have to be anti bacterial...

Yes. It's called Methecillin Resistant Staphylococus Aureus or MRSA. There's been over 13,000 deaths from it.
