I had a baby a little over a year ago. Before I got pregnant I was 110 pounds wearing a size "0" to "1". The heaviest I got while pregnant was 184 (yikes) I had some complications that caused my body to retain more water than normal and I ballooned badly. I lost a good bit of weight after I had the baby but still had a pouch for a while. Now I am back into a size"5" jean comfortably but I weigh about 125-130 pounds now. I would love to get back to at least 115 or if at all possible back to my pre pregnancy weight 110 pounds. I would like to know what is a good way to lose that weight. It seems lately I have been losing weight without any trying. I had a c-section and a few stretch marks from my pregnancy but the more weight I lose the better my skin elasticity is getting better and the stretch marks are fading more. How can I get a tone tummy back and get back to the weight I was before in a healthy way.

It's been a little over a year since I had my baby, I want to lose 20 pounds how do I do it SAFELY???

Men and very active women may need up to 2,500 calories daily. Other women and inactive men need only about 2,000 calories daily. A safe plan is to eat 300 to 500 fewer calories a day to lose 1 to 2 pounds a week.

Exercise 30 Minutes

Do at least 30 minutes of exercise, like brisk walking, most days of the week.

The idea is to use up more calories than you eat. You need to use up the day's calories and some of the calories stored in your body fat.
