As I was grabbing a big rock, the surface kind of dug in between my nail and my finger kind of lifting it from the skin. It bled for a bit, but it has healed over time. Only thing is that the nail and finger aren't "uniformly squished" now, it looks as if there is nail growth from from gap it created.

Is there a way to make it "uniformly squished" again so it looks like a perfect healthy nail/finger? Should I just keep cutting as a normal shaped cresent or should I cut off the part where there's the gap and hopefully it heals outward uniformly?

Sorry if the description is a little wishy washy.

Nail lifted from accidental force and pressure? How to cure it?

just let it grow... really! I had this happen to my index finger, and it took forever and a day to heal where it looked normal again. Although, now from time to time, it will lift up again, i just have to let it grow out
