I got the workout thing right. I think. So how do I eat right. Someone told me Nature Valley Oats n honey granola bars.

180cals = bars 50cals from fat. half for 1 bar.

Someone else told me white crab meat

2oz = 30 cals 0 from fat, 2 servings a can.

I honesetly dont know what else. I've heard to cut the sweets, breads, tortillas, etc. out. Sodas, teas, juices, etc.

I've heard chicken breast w/o skin is good, baked patatoe, carrots, celery. I'm blind in this quest to drop pounds and get a bit more healthy.

If I do stick to what I'm doing plus advice provided to me, how long would it take to drop 100#s if i'm at 290# right now.

Working out, what about how to eat.?

well you got a long way to go to lose 100 lbs, my best advice is stay away from quick diets, as you will not be able to stick to them long term. and they are not good for long term weight loss.

eat low fat/sugar high fiber, eat 3 meals a day and two snacks.

find ways to make everything more healthy, ie whole grain bread and rice instead of white, quit junk food and deep fried and fast food asap. eat only one plate of food skip the seconds and drink lots of water.

if your making chicken take the skin off, also try and stay away from processed foods like hot dogs , chicken nuggets etc...

start reading lables on food, skim milk instead of whole or 2%, look at the fat content, sugar and cals in a food product compair to different brand names, find the healthy choice.. eat normal and lots of varity, lots of veggies fruits. and keep a journal of everything you eat. that way you can look back after each week, to see if you made the right choices, or what you could have done different, even to find your weak moments.
