No if it has only been a week you should keep them in and generally you really should keep them in for 6 weeks like told so it gives it a chance to heal better and not be so exposed so you get an infection. Maybe taking them out five minutes wont hurt but leaving them in 6 weeks really is best and why take them out and possibly forget to put them back in or lose an earring late at night and have a hole close up. Better to be safe then sorry. And a keloid is a scar that enlarges and is raised above the skin ( i have about three ) and doesnt really go away or fade over time like even the worst of scars do and you can get them from a piercing as well because keloid scars usually happen after an injury, piercing, surgery or even and inflamed zit that you popped so to avoid one keep the piercing in

Yes,just make sure you replace them with another pair and clean them with peroxide.
