Does Cartilage piercing cause blindness? And what is a keloid, How is it formed and How do you get rid of it?

How would cartilage piercing cause blindness? Look at all the people with earrings and nose rings and ask that question again.

I have not heard that cartilage piercing will cause blindness. I am planning to have my nose pierced and the top of my ear and I am not worried about blindness. I have searched the internet high and low for information on piercing cartilage and have not seen anything that mentioned blindness.

A keloid is a small bump of scar tissue that forms and will eventually go away. It does not happen with every piercing.
