Tragus piercings..?

i got my tragus pierced in december, it had a keloid on it and got swolen on both sides, i took it out and changed it to a straight bar.. and now its pretty good except for those few times.. has this happened to anyone or anything like this with a tragus piercing?

tragus piercings take a long time to heal up and settle down. be patient with it. if the new jewelry is woking better for you, then stick with it. if you have any concerns about your piercing, i highly recommend visiting your piercer. they will be able to answer any questions that you might have regarding your new piercing.

I do have my tragus pierced but I haven't had any problems. Do you regularly rinse the area with a seasalt/water mix? This is what the guy that does my piercing recommends.

well if those "keloids" re gone now it most liekley was hypertrophic scarring. just your piericng was irritated and it became inflamed. but this has happened to me before. and im still dealing with the proble, I do have my out cartilage directly across fromt eh tragus pierced. and i was fitted with studs (horrible idea) i got scarring. earrings became too tight. switched to circular barbells... hair kept getting stuck on them. then i switched to straight barbells and they are much better and the inflamation has been going down ever since.. (tea tree oil and warm saline compresses) is what i did to get rid of it.

yeah i had one too i think it's normal for this piercing but it went away really quick.
