What fades purplish 21 mont..

It's not keloid (sp). Just the color bothers me a bit.

I've used Vit. E gel caps on surgical scars before. Just prick them with a pin a squeeze out the oil. I think it works better than mederma or any of the other scar treatments out there. Creams containing retin A are often expensive but I've heard people claim they work. Beware of anything with Retin A if you plan on getting pregnant, are pregnant (although I doubt you are :)) or still breastfeeding.

Strtivectin works. Its expensive and you have to apply it 3 times a day, but I have heard great things about it. Also, vitamin E helps. The color should eventually fade to tan or white- time really helps with them too-oh, and depending on your skin tone,a little self tanner on the area will make the purple less visible
