MOLE chem HELP!?

Area of the earth:

510,065,600 km^2

Area of the USA:

9,826,630 km^2

Roughly, the earth has 51x the surface area of the US. If marshmallows are 1,050 km thick over the US, they would be about 20 km thick over the entire earth, so yes.

If you assume that a marshmallow is about 1 cm thick, this is about 2,000,000 marshmallows thick

MOLE chem HELP!?

Vm = A(usa) * 1050

Ve = 4pi/3 * [r(e)]^3

Ve/Vm would give you the ratio of volumes and if it is <=1 then 1 mole will do, if not the ratio is the number needed
