So I have a blister on the back of both my feet because I tried to break in my new shoes today! One of them the skin pulled itself off when I took off the shoe so the skin isn't protecting it, on the other one i let the fluid out but left the skin on. I put a bandaid on the back of both of them but they still hurt really bad... I also feel like I should put some antiseptic on them... Any advice?

I have a really bad blister from trying to break in my new shoes...?

wash the areas well with warm water and soap. dry them off and apply a thin layer of neosporin to prevent infection. apply bandaids or small gauze squares to help keep the germs out and to also provide cushion when wearing other shoes.

keep the areas covered and dry as much as possible and change the bandaid/gauze at least twice a day.

for future reference-never pop a blister. the fluid inside them is sterile to your body and helps it heal. when you pop it, the blister opens and can become infected due to germs or bacteria that get into the opening. if it pops on it's own then it's ok-just make sure to use the neosporin.

you can take ibuprofen to help with the pain (if not allergic). take 200-400mg every 6 hours but no more than 1200mg in 24 hours

don't wear your shoes again, until your blisters heal, which they should in a couple of days, maybe you could stretch your shoes a little by wearing them around the house with socks on, that way they won't be so tight on your ankles. you don't need to put any creams on the back of your feet they will dry out and heal by themselves ...
