Can eating a very low-fat diet help with oily skin?

I have oily skin and I was wondering if a low-fat diet would help this. I know eating certain oils can help with dry skin but does this work the other way, i.e. less dietary oil = less oily skin. I guess this is a biochemistry question. Does the body synthesise sebum from nutrients other than dietary fat?
Can eating a very low-fat diet help with oily skin?yes it does work the other way around. i have oily skin too but when i go on a diet and eat less oily food and for example PEANUT BUTTER that i love, my face started to be less oily and better. hope this helps

Can eating a very low-fat diet help with oily skin? From what I understand, unless you're rubbing your oily food on your face it's not going to make a significant difference.
Can eating a very low-fat diet help with oily skin?lol yes. Fries, Chips ect have the bad oils in them, the cooked greasy types = vegetable/animal fat. Stay away from greasy junk foods, CHOCOLATE stay well away from that makes ur skin oily, basically stay away from fried foods they really get the skin going = pimples, oiley face ect.
Can eating a very low-fat diet help with oily skin?I don't know for sure. But it seems a low fat diet can help with practically anything.
I say go for it, and drink plenty of water.
Sorry if this did not completely answer your question
Can eating a very low-fat diet help with oily skin?no, sebum production has nothing to do with types of foods consumed
drink plenty of water, don't over stimulate the skin when you cleanse,
try adding peppermint to your bath water.
