While it didn't feel like I had anything on my face, my face got reallllly oily and shiny. I was even asked if I was hot because my face looked so moist. The weather wasn't incredibly hot, so I don't think that's to blame. I have oily skin, but it's never been as oily as today, when I used the product. For those who have used it, what should I do? I'm not applying tons, but I'm not using the mineral veil either. Does the mineral veil really help? Thanks for any guidance.

I used bare minerals for the first time today...?

Yes, the mineral veil does help keep oil under control. You might also want to use oil-blotting sheets throughout the day.

Hi! A lot of people say on acne.org, that Bare Minerals make there face really shiny. You are not alone! It is because of the bismuth oxychloride in the makeup. I guess that this is what makes it shiny, and made people actually break out very bad. (From what I researched) A lot of people on Yahoo Answers like Bare Minerals. I myself have not tried it on my face, but when I tried a little bit of the product on my hand it was REALLY shiny, and glittery. I am not trying to say that it is a horrible product, but i just don't think it'll work for some people. Thumbs up to the people that use Bare Minerals and it actually works out for them. I am not sure if the Mineral veil will help you. Its supposed to set the makeup and make you look oil-free. If it doesn't work out, maybe you should look into a different mineral makeup brand. Hope I helped lots!
