Infection on my foot-how do I get rid of it?

I got a very bad blister on the boney area under my big toe (I have bunions from years of ballet). I got the blister a week ago (it was the size of a quarter) and the top layer peeled off. Most if it has healed, but there is still an area that is now turning white and the skin around it is swelling and turning white and pink. It sometimes oozes with clear or yellowy-clear liquid on the band-aid. I can barely walk. I don't have health insurance right now either so I need to know what to do? I have to wear closed toed shoes for work so I have to put a band aid on it for it to be a little bit bearable, but I feel like it needs to breathe too?? Please help!!
Infection on my foot-how do I get rid of it?Buy some Tea Tree Oil. You can find it at Walmart in the section with bandaids and antiseptics. It'll be in a small brown bottle and will cost about $5 or $6. Drug stores and good food stores carry it also. You might pay twice as much, but whichever is easiest to pick up!
Apply to the whole area at least 2 or 3 times daily. This may sting if the skin is broken open. If it is, and it's too painful to apply directly, apply it as close as possible to all the surrounding affected area. In addition, be sure to apply it right after showering while the skin is more absorbant.
Depending on how bad it is, take a day or two off from work or talk to your supervisor about wearing other shoes or maybe doing other duties for a couple of days to keep the wound from worsening.
