What do I do about dry skin..

The skin of my face is pretty dry, I currently do everything in a good skin care regimine, but my skin still does not get enough hydration.No matter how oily/thick a product, my skin will just suck it in. I have really small pores, so they don't create a lot of oil. I live in Los Angeles, so the air here is already dry already. What can I use to hydrate my skin? I drink plenty of water.

Don't put lotion on your face. You might want to visit a dermatologist.

The best way is to buy a moisturizer from the pharmacy! If that doesnt work you could always use a moisturizer!

hmm... use lotion, particularly one designed for dry skin.

i think dove has products for hydrating skin.... check that out

i have the same problem, i try not to wash my face alot, just twice a day, i heard oil of olay good, but i havent tried it, but i know clearsil, oxy, reallly try my skin out, and nutrogena is probalby the best.

Do not use oily lotions, including those meant for the body, because they will only cover the top layer of your skin like grease. My face is dry too, so I always use a gentle exfoliating face scrub in the morning to gently remove excess dry skin (St. Ives works well), followed by a mosturizer made for the face (I use Clean & Clear for my skin because it's acne prone, but use a trusted brand such as the one I just mentioned, Cetaphil, or Dove, and try to get one that's meant for extra dry and/or sensitive skin).
