I had beautiful skin my entire life until about three years ago it started with spots like red rash on elbows now its gottin much worse and very irritable .I have tried many different things to cure this awful condition but so far nothing has worked for me .Please help getting desperate here .If anyone acually knows of something to help let me know . First and foremost, see a dermatologist. Psoriasis can be controlled, but I don't know of an actual cure. My sister suffers from it terribly as well. She has had great success with 1-Neutrogena T-Gel shampoo, 2-chlorine from swimming pools in the summer (I know this doesn't help right now) and 3-very short sessions in a tanning bed. There are numerous topical prescriptions to keep the irritation under control, but again, they have to come from a dermatologist.

Try not to scratch, all that will do is open sores that will have difficulty healing.

No...there is no cure for psorasis. Period Some people have improvement of symptoms (the best you can expect) using tea tree oil or shampoo. it really seems to work. Also how sure are you of the diagnosis/ Did a dermatologist agree with the diagnosis?
