Are we born to be superficial?

Babies stares at pretty faces and ignores the ugly ones. We should not feel guilty to be superficial. The "beauty is only skin deep" is to help make the us the ugly people feel better. We all love beautiful things if we "have it our way".
Are we born to be superficial?Gosh, where on earth do you get your information from? You'll find babies actually respond best to faces which seem friendly or non threatening, which is where the misconception lies. There are lots of less attractive people that look friendly or non-threatening and vice versa. If a baby has what you would perceive as an unnattractive mother, do you honestly think the baby will not smile? Don't be absurd.
It is related to protecting ourselves from danger. If a person appears to be threatening, the baby cries. It is a form of protection and nothing more. Yes, there may be some strangers who look threatening because they are less attractive, but this is not always the case and it has nothing to do with finding people beautiful.
No, we are not born superficial. If it makes you feel less ashamed of your shallow nature, I'm sorry to disappoint you.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, just remember that.
Take care : )
Are we born to be superficial?I see you are dumb as well as shallow....*rolls eyes*.
It's a shame you are so blinded by such superficial views, it probably holds you back in life.
