Now that I'm almost 40 I've kind fo gotten on a health kick and I can't believe how much better I feel/look since starting - even my hair and skin look MUCH better. I'm taking the following:

Garlic - Heart disease runs in my family

Milk Thistle - Liver problems in my family

Multi-Vitamin

Extra Vitamin C

What else should a woman take to help protect her health?

i think with all your doing your on the right track

just make sure you exercise and eat right

like stay away from alot of fryed , fatty foods

those fryed foods and pizza things with alot of grese

in it will hurt your heart

I'd suggest getting your blood checked for iron deficiencies and if needed, take iron. You should also take a vitamin B complex for your heart- high homocysteine can be easily lowered with certain B vitamins. :-)

I take B, C, zinc, iron and fish oil

Since you are 40 ,you should start taking extra calcium with vitamin D to protect you from osteoporosis which is very common during and after menopause.
