Gilberts syndrome?

Gilbert's Syndrome is generally harmless and it doesn't require any treatment. The yellowing of the sclerae (eye white) and skin is called jaundice and these features are common in Gilbert's Syndrome.

However, it is important for the further tests to be done to be certain that it is really Gilbert's Syndrome and not other nasty conditions.

Coeliac disease is not associated with Gilbert's Syndrome. As for coeliac disease, your son should be on a lifetime gluten-free diet. Consult a doctor or a dietitian if your son is unsure about the diet regiment.

If your son has already followed a gluten-free diet and still feels weak, consult a doctor. A full consultation and examination is required to find out the cause. Then only it can be treated accordingly.

Hope it helps.
