Herpes question ? is it bum..

CAN HERPES BE ONLY 1 SPOT/sore?

like does it always have to be many sores/bumps in the same area?

because my friend only has one sore about 1/2 inch wide and 1/2inch tall.

im starting to this it may be herpes? he said it doesnt hurt.

and everyday it gets dry skin on it but not like a scab just dry skin.

DOES THAT SOUND LIKE HERPES? CAN IT BE ONE SORE AT A TIME?also its been there 3 weeks, and i thought herpes only lasted 1-8 days??? am i wrong?

Herpes can be one sore, but really it sounds like skin fungus. If it speads any than it's probably fungus. He should go get checked my a Dr. tho.
