How to get rid of the disco..

i have light skin and some parts of my armpits are like darker than my normal skin tone. this makes my armpit look dirty and thats why i cant wear tanktops and im scared to wear a dress without anything on top. ive tried to get rid of it but i dont know what it is, what caused it but i do know that i have it. i have very clean hygene so i dont know what caused this. and ive tried rubbing it off in the shower and spas for a couple of years now. it doesnt itch or anything so i know its not some kind of disease. helppp pleassee! i hate the fact that i feel uncomfortable in tank tops, swimsuits, and dresses. help? thanks

if it has a velvety feeling to it, it is called acanthosis nigricans, you could see a doctor, it may never go away. good luck

It could be simple irritation from shaving or even your deodorant. No need to panic, very few people will examine these parts of your body as closely as you do.

You know what? I have the same problem! People have told me to rub lemon juice on the area or to let the hair grow out and wax my armpits. I haven't tried them, but I am going to. Just thought I would pass this info to you so you can try it if you want!

You know what? I had the same problem on my tummy..for no reason it was there, then it was gone..use rubbing alchole is what my doc said. Irritateing and smelly and it only works to lighten it. Try useing that spary on leg make-up if it bothers you that bad, it will covere it up and it wont sweat off. other then that not much you can do
