The lumps/bumps are really really really small, it's not even noticeable. It also appears that the lumps are just under the skin and not attached to the tissue. They are quite numerous especially in the armpits, not so much in the groin. It actually looks like that the bumps are increasing in numbers. The lumps/bumps are not painful which is the case with Hodgkin's disease. I'm just curious if this bumps are consistent with the symptoms of Hodgkin's disease. Also, what exactly does a swollen lymph gland really look like with Hodgkin's disease?

I have lumps on my armpits and groin but they are very small and not painful, is this a symptom of Hodgkin's?

First of all don't panic, swollen lymph nodes can be attributed to lots of things but most commonly to infections.

The best thing for you to do is visit your doctor and explain your symptoms to him/her. You will most likely get given antibiotics if an infection is suspected, if you continue to have problems with your lymph nodes be persistent with your doctor about getting further tests done to determine the cause.

Swollen lymph nodes with Hodgkin's will look different in each case, it depends on where they are and the stage of the disease. I can tell you from experience that my "bump" was about 8cm long and 2-3cm wide and in my groin (too big to not notice).
