i have two male rabbit brothers (not neutered) that live outside in a large pen. the smaller of the two is very sweet and calm and ive noticed that the larger one is a little aggressive towards him, and i always see him ripping his fur off of him and chasing him. but other than that they're ok. every day i go outside and feed them and give them water and today i figured i'd give them baths since they play around and dig in dirt and pee on eachother and i picked up the little one and i noticed that one of his toes has NO fur or skin on it, its just bone. i told my dad and he said to just leave it go because he still gets around good and no problem but i dont know how it got like that because it would take the rabbit a long time to chew that off and what if it gets caught in something? i was thinking maybe it was a disease or something but they are inbred bunnies.. but it was never like this before.
I really need help with my bunny? You need to separate your bunnies immediately. They have gotten older now and are reacting to hormones. If you get them neutered they can live peacefully together. Otherwise, keep them in separate pens. The bigger one is probably hurting the little one.
I really need help with my bunny? That rabbit needs a vet.
It also needs to be away from the other rabbit.
They cant live together.
