What can you tell me about ..

There is a skin condition that runs in my family, it is genetic and only 5 people in my family that i know of have it, so far. It is uncommon, or was but i was looking to see if anyone knew anything about it. It is called "Neurofibramentosis" I think thats right, may not be the right spelling. Anyway, my aunt has it and has had it since she was a kid, she is in her 60's and it has crippled her, it grows along her spine. Anyway my grandma told me what the doctors told her that as long as they grow on the outside you are ok but if they grow on the inside it could leave you crippled or paralyzed. Does anyone know about this disease?

Just lately (past two years) I have had some of these spots come up and I am only 20. If you can will you give me some info please!!
