Genital warts or normal?

My boyfriend has recently developed two wart like growths quite high up on his groin. From what I have seen and read about genital warts am not sure these fit the bill. One of them in particular is like a skin tag and from what I have seen they tend to be actually on the penis in clusters.

We are a little concerned because we have been together for a year now and from what I have read genital warts "break out" in most cases within a few months of contact. He said if he has got something like that - he would look to me - which I took great offence to. Any thoughts?

go to a clinic and have him checked out. in the meantime only have protected sex if you can't stop having sex, that would be better for you health wise to not have sex

see a doctor and then work out whether you trust him.

Absolutely I would have taken offence and kicked his butt. They do sounds like warts but the only way to know for sure would be to see a doctor. Some things like herpes can lay dormant for months before an outbreak so it could also be that, I would certainly get it checked out because you could get/have it too.

These are indeed genital warts and his will spread and grow in more clusters. They are very contaigous and never fully go away. They have to burn them of laser or freeze. Most people don't seek treatment out of embarrassment or until the spreading is unbearable. Get awy from him fast and see you Dr. for preventive advice. Also get an HIV test....it may be worse than genital warts, if he has those he may have multiple STD's Oh you said not cluster's Sorry I reread and edited. Both of you get checked out then and perhaps it's just normal skin tags as you say and high on the groin possible if the woman was on top...but just be responsible and mutually have a physical, hopefully with a clean bill of health. Use Condoms in the future unless you are 100% monogomous to each other.
