Help me identify what this ..

i have this bump on the inside of my upper groin just noticed it about a week ago.... at first it looked like a skin tag but today when i woke up its about the size of an eraser head and it hurts bad when i touch it... it hurts when i walk..it is hard, under the skin it is very swollen and tender... i am very scared :( im a 21 year old male.... please help me.. thank you :)

okay it might be mrsa. no joke. or an std of some type or a fluid colllection which would be nothing to worry about .. but i would go to a doctor and make sure just incase.

It could be a cyst.

It could just be a swollen hair follicle. Can you see a hair stuck in the middle? If not, it could just be a pimple. If you start to get a lot of these, you might consider a more serious infection like MRSA, which is a type of resistant bacteria. Just make sure to wash the area and try not to pick at it.

It sounds like a boil....a doctor can lancet or you can use a very sterile needle to drain the fluid, make sure you use some sort of antiseptic after wards to help dry it and kill bacteria.
