I had a baby November 23rd ..

I had a baby November 23rd vaginally. Now I have a small skin tag looking thing on my perineum. Anyone know what it is or how to get rid of it?

It is probably scar tissue, if it was a little bit further back I would say it was a hemroid which are common during pregnancy and labor. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just mention it to your doctor at your six week visit. If it is really bothering you they can remove it in office then.

usually they go away on their own soon after birth or if they dont you can always have your doctors take them off.

It may be where you were a little traumatized from the delivery. I dont think its anything to freak out about although anything uncompfortable for you is a problem. I would suggest talking to your doctor about it and see what he/she says. Congratulations on the new baby.

It might be left over skin from when they sewed you up. The doc will take a look at it during your next postpardum appt. Most likely they can carterize it off.
