They tend to occur in places that get a bit hot and sweaty. I had some when I was younger but for some reason they've all gone - the doctor said that the skin cells had repeated themselves too many times.

I have loose bits of skin (dangly moles), under my arm my dad said they might be called "tags". Any ideas

They're called skin tags. If they irritate you too much you can have them removed by a dermatologist.

It does sound like "tags". It's just a virus in the skin, nothing very serious - just a bit unsightly. Children commonly get them on the arms and legs and adults tent to ge them around the groin. They are contagious but very easily treated by having them frozen off by your doctor. In most cases it will only take one or two treatments to clear up. In some cases the immune system will kick in after a few months and they will go on their own accord. Perhaps go and see your doctor, just in case anyway.
