Im not happy with my OB doc..

for some reason i am not happy with my doctor. when i first seen him he told me that i had a short cervix but didnt explain it to me so i went home and looked it online and it sounded bad so i called him and went in to talk to him about it and he had a really bad attitude with me. then recently i have had this thing that kinda looked like a boil on the vagina area so i asked him about it and he said it looked like a skin tag and that it would never go away so he offered to remove it for me when i was in labor so i agreed but a week later it totally disapeared. it kinda sounds like he doesnt know what hes doing and it kinda scares me becouse i dont really want someone who dont know what there doing delivering my baby but im already 36 weeks so its to late to change docs. what would u guys do? do u think hes an idiot or am i just worrying to much???

even though you are 36 weeks, it might not be to late to change your Dr. call you insurance company and ask for a list of OB Dr.'s that you can see. then call there office and see if the will take you even though you are 36 weeks. let them know what is going on, explain to them your concerns.

But you know that the Dr. on call in the hospital will be the one to deliver your baby that day or night. the only way your Dr. delivers your baby, is if you go in for a visit and he see's that you have dilated or your blood pressure is to high, and he sends you to the hospital and tell you that he will be right over to deliver you.
