Pain in my left armpit??

I have pain in my left armpit. When I feel around I can feel some sort of a bump the size of a dime or penny. About 5 years ago I had a skin tag there and I accidently cut it off with a razor, it didn't bleed or anything. Could this be related or do you think that it is something more serious, or nothing to worry about? Thank you.

It sounds like a clogged sweat gland. I had one a few years ago and my doctor basically just squeezed out the pus and prescribed an antibiotic. No big deal, but you should get it looked at.

Go to the doctor.

It could your lymph node. Which means it could be something that does require medical assistance.

The lymph glands in the arm pit can when faced with an infection can swell quickly and become tender as the immune system 'fights off' infecting germs (bacteria, virus, etc). The lymph glands usually go back to their normal 'pea size' when the infection is over. It can take a week or so for them to gradually go back to normal after the infection. Its probably best to check it out with your doctor xx
