Skin tag in baby -- Anybody..

and how did you remove it? What is the consequences? My baby has one on her cheek since birth. Thanks.

Talk to your pediatrician. This is NOT something you can do at home. Skin tags are fairly common and your baby's doctor can recommend when to have it removed and ,if necessary refer you to a specialist.

I had one on the back of my ear and pulled off myself.

my friends daughter had one so she went to the doctor and he recommended it to be removed usually though they just tell you to wait it out... see if it grows with the baby. I wouldnt worry to much about it. And to prosperous parent...ewww!! gross...!! lol

Do not try to take it off at home. My baby had one between her butt cheeks. It disappeared on it's own. If it's on her cheek then ask your doctor how they can get it off. It probably can just be frozen off like a wart would be.

My best friend in high school had one on his ear and it didn't do any harm. After the first couple of times of seeing it, you don't even notice it any more. My sister also had a growth on her cheek and the doctor removed it by freezing it off. It was just a regular visit and not a big procedure

when i held my newborn ,she was an hour old when i noticed it, i was like whats this lump on her face?, its near her ear on her cheek, about the size of an ant, pretty noticable

i thought i gotta get it removed when shes older,,,, but shes now 9mths old and i love it,,, its her special mark

a dr can remove it, but it may need a stitch,, dont try to do it yourself
