Skin tag problem?

i have a skin tag on my genital area. and its very annoying looking. will guys think its beyond gross? does it hurt really bad getting them surgically removed?

help.

As far as surgically removed--it's not surgically removed. It's burned off with REALLY cold material. It hurts like a *#$(! for a few days, you blister up, and then it's gone.

first, are you positive it isnt a genital wart?

second- you can probably have it frozen off- it burns a little. If you can tolerate it, just use rubbing alcohol to steralize the area, hot it with a tweezers, and cut it off with a razor blade. I did that to one on my neck once- no problem.

I wouldn't find it cute. But I wouldn't be disgusted by it or anything. If you're letting a guy see you there, and he freaks out, then it is his loss anyway, right?

I had one removed from my lower eyelid. The doctor numbs it, then uses a laser to remove it. It doesn't hurt at all at the time, and is just a little sore for a couple of days after. You should ask your doctor about it, though, considering the location. He/she may have some advice on how to take care of the location after removal.

Please go to the doctor and talk to him or her about it. Do Not try to remove it yourself as extra pain, infection and scarring can occur. Others have mentioned getting it frozen (which is supposed to burn it) off which sounds like cryotherapy which the dr. may use liquid nitrogen to do so. I was actually asking that a little while ago about my moles :) I had also read about laser being used for warts or moles, but it may not be able to get down to all of the layers in either skin problem. Please do talk with your physician and perhaps he or she will refer you to an ob/gyn.
