Skin tag removal?

i have two on my neck. is it true if you tie a string around them they will fall off? if so how long will this take and will they turn black? and what are other methods?

I've removed a few with over-the-counter wart remover - topical salicylic acid. It takes a few days of putting a drop on each tag, but they just melt away, leaving only a slightly red spot that heals quickly.

I have tied them off with dental floss and within a couple of days they are gone.

They will fall off because they don't get any blood. Should take about two days and may turn colors depending on you. The method my ex-wife used was laser. Real funny - they explode!

The string works very well. I did it myself with a mole and my son was born with one on each hand. They did not turn black until the fell off.

dont do that! you can cause skin cancer go to the dr they will get them off

I have just grown skin tags and found that bloodroot shrinks it to nothing. I started using it and it works, It takes a few days for the small ones and up to wks for big ones. Black salve is good for moles, skin tags and cancerous skin marks. Go to a health food store and ask if they have it, and if not they can order it. Go online and type in bloodroot, it should get you the info before you buy anything.
