Pointless? Probably uvula (dangly thing in the back of your throat, if you don't know what I'm talking about ha) piercings.

I mean, it looks neat, but you'd rarely get to change it, with having to go back to your piercer every time. That would get expensive. I think it would just be too much of a hassle.

I decided to have a look at the unusual piercings on BME after your question and I have to say (because I hadnt looked before in this particular section) I find this cats dermal punch both unusual, pointless and to be honest boardering on cruel because the cat didnt make the choice to get this done and it has no specific purpose other than to entertain the owner and their friends http://www.bmezine.com/pierce/11-surface...

I also found in the same section people tattooing their animals (ok not piercing but still unusual and pointless)

As for your examples the uvula - I honestly dont see the point of that one I mean you would be gagging/vomiting getting it done and if you want to change it - more gagging/vomiting I actually dont think I could pierce that area even if I were to get full training - just the idea someone is more than likely going to vomit while Im working down there URGH
