My glands are swollen on my..

This started Sat. night, and has gotten worse since then. They are tender to the touch, and it hurts when I twist my neck. What could this be and is it anything serious?

(I have sunburn on my nose, if this has anything to do with it??)

I would recommend going in and getting checked out. In the article it states that you should

"Seek Care Immediately If...

The node interferes with moving your neck, breathing, or swallowing."

its probably strep or a sore throat. Or it could be tonsilitous

It sounds like the mono virus, go and get checked.

I used to have this problem too. Go to the doctor and get antibiotics .You will be fine after a couple days.

The inflammation is an auto immune response. Regrettably it has a large number of cause both simple and serious. Anything from the common cold to mono and some rare blood disease may cause the glands to swell. If the problem persists gets worse or become painful go see a doctor.
