I don't sweat, even when extremely hot, should I see a doctor?

I work out, I run, I do heavy lifting and when I do I don't sweat at all. Instead I get very hot, my skin turns red and after awhile I start to feel dizzy. I've consulted a friend who is a med student and he checked my skin (by pinching it, and seeing how it pops back into place) and says that I am not dehydrated. My Over-heating prevents me from doing some intense activities I would like to do. What could cause this and should I go see a doctor?
I don't sweat, even when extremely hot, should I see a doctor?YES, see a doctor. The body discards toxins through sweat glands, and it also releases excess heat which is why you experience those other symptoms(dizziness, red patches). If your body doesn't release the heat, you could get heat stroke or experience a mild overheating, which is bad for your brain and central nervous system over a long period of time. You're probably ok, but check it out to be safe.
I don't sweat, even when extremely hot, should I see a doctor?Good idea to go and see doctor and have a thorough check up
I don't sweat, even when extremely hot, should I see a doctor?if your sking is turning red and youre gettin feelings of dizziness without sweating, i would seriously have to disagree with your med school friend. it sounds like classic dehydration to me.
