Share your tanning tips!?

What advice can you provide to a newbie tanner? What lotions are best? How long to go in for? Other advice?

depends on what kind of skin tone you have.. if you burn easily do a low pressure bed 3-5 times a week w/ a lotion..

Theres always heating agent lotions.. i hate them, but some people love them.. They can be painful.. kinda makes you feel like your whole body is on fire, or asleep..

IF your not fair skin but do get burned.. use a med pressured bed.. 3-4 times a week..

if you tan easily and never burn use a HIGH pressure bed..3-4 times a week

accelerator lotions are always good.. I think california tan has some of the best productions..

I really like Hempology.. smells good and works, and they have some heating agent products as well..

happy tanning!

don't tan, avoid skin cancer. if you go in the sun use a strong sun block.

just let it happen. wear sunblock though. too much sun will damage your skin and in 10 years you'll be all wrinkly and nasty and nobody will want to touch your nasty old wrinkly @ss. you'll get a tan even through the sunblock.

Start small but not too small. Try 12 minutes the first time. I used to go tanning a lot but I stopped because it's horrible for your skin and your tan is uneven. When I did go I took a clean, dry , white washcloth with me. When I started to feel the heat on my face I reached for the washcloth and covered it up. This keeps the sensitive skin on your face from burning so fast. Also remember to turn , especially if you start feeling the heat on a spot that is touching the bed. I also used to bring my own cleaner and cloths to prevent the fungus that is spread so easily in tanning salons.
