usually......it depends on the surrounding and what you are wearing.......remeber dark attracts heat which tans your skin. But be carefull because you could burn under the water because it magnifies the light.

idk. wouldn't make sense if it does. i think water couldn't kinda protect your skin. you might not get that tanned underwater then you would above water.
