Girls: Would this annoy you..

You had been talking with your friend about how fun it would be to do a Birthday brunch somewhere all the gilrs and thier husbands/boyfriends could dress up, because we never go anywhere to wear those little sundresses we have hanging in our closet. She is totally on board. "Oh yeah... how fun. I want to go get a new dress now."..she says. Some time goes by.. you had mentioned to a few people. You get an email from her to you, some of your friends and her friends:

"My birthday is coming up and I want to do something fun and go someplace where I can wear my new summer dress. :) So I have decided to do lunch at the Villa. That way we can have lunch, either at the cafe or a picnic in the beautiful surroundings and then enjoy the newly opened museum full of greek and roman art."

Also... She tends to follow my lead a lot and do what I do. Never has gotten under my skin like this before.

Do you think I am being ridiculous... or would you be a bit annoyed or shall we say... amused.

If you value the friendship, let this go. Be flattered that she liked your idea and have fun at her party. But dwelling on this is petty and life is too short to get caught up in this crap.

Yes, that would piss me off. And if she is doing this a lot, you HAVE to speak to her about it.

My best friend did this to me ALL THE TIME. From saying really loud things I muttered under my breath, to taking my ideas and using them as her own. I never said a word, and I ended up strongly resenting her for it. We are no longer friends. You can't let things like that build up, you might become a very angry person.
