Duct tape treatment for oth..

Duct tape works incredibly well for getting rid of plantar warts (I've used it myself several times, and was amazed at the results). I believe it works by boosting the immune system in the area of the skin where the wart has rooted.

My question in: How about using duct tape for treating other minor skin ailments? (anything comes to my mind: insect bites, acne, scars, moles, etc). Has anybody tried that before? Any success or side effects? Thanks
