Help out!!?

my friend suffers from severe pimples, i guess they are all acne, what cud be the best treatment for it??any oral medication?ointment?

i heard proactive was good stuff have him/her try it somtime

Acne responds well to the oral medication tetracycline. It is a broad spectrum antibiotic the kills both Strep A and B. Wonderful med for clearing the skin. You have to see a doctor and get a prescription for it. It is an inexpensive medicine, easily affordable to anyone. AND, wash your face four times a day with good cleaner and water. No make up or lotion except that designed especially for someone with acne problems. You can talk to your pharmacist for that particular item.

Smash up some asprin make a paste put it on the affected area it will take the swelling and redness down...Then toothepaste (White kind) on it before bed it will dry up the pimples..

Have your friend tried OTC products containing either benzoyl peroxide,sulfur/sulphur,salycilic acid?

If he(or she?) have and didnt get any result, I think your need something stronger.

Go to a dermatologist who will give u something to reduce sebum production(e.g. Isotretinoin or Accutane).Antibiotics e.g. Doxycycline used with this drug work wonders.Accutane have side effects such as dry lips etc but I'm sure the dermatologist will explain it to your friend. Topical antibiotics and facial cleanser will be prescribed.

The above is the strongest treatment avaiable for acne,for now.
