The Lump is walnut sized and to the side of his Penis. It looks like a large cyst under the skin. Do dogs have glands in that area and if so can this be infected causing the lump? He is a very happy chappy and shows no sign of illness and the lump only appeared a few days ago. He did have anal gland smell which I dealt with and the smell went and the lump appeared so could this all be related? He is a Labrador and is 5 yrs young. Please help xx

I have found a lump on my dog?

Mammary glands. Boys get breast cancer too. Could also be a fatty tumor.

I have found a lump on my dog?

definately take him to the vets. It probably is just a cyst - maybe to do with the anal gland thing, but it is imperative to get him checked out by a pro asap.

Hope his ok.

I have found a lump on my dog?

My dog also has a lump on his groin, near his penis. they are quite commonly fatty cysts that r usually fine. He is now 12 and has developed quite a few of these lumps on his body.I was getting the lump on his groin checked( it has grown to the size of a small orange) and i got the vet to check a small lump on his foot. this turned out to be cancer. i would recomend not ignoreing any lumps. It was an aggressive form of cancer but he has had surgery and we hope they got it all. So far, so good.If i hadnt been getting the fatty cyst checked my dog would be very sick right now as i was not overly worried about the one on his foot.
